CHEMICAL TEMPERED GLASS
Chemical tempered glass is produced by strengthened the glass by the process of ion exchange on the surface. So it is also called ion exchange method, which has to immerse the glass into 400'C solution, the the sodium ions diffuse from the glass and replaced by large potassium ions from the solution. Then the glass surface coression strength and scratch resistance are increased without optical distortion. Chemical tempering is prefered for glass with thinckness less than 4mm.
